EQVEGAN SUCCESSFULLY HELD ITS FIFTH PARTNERING MEETING IN PARIS

On July 3rd, EQVEGAN held its fifth Consortium Meeting at the facilities of the French Network for Food Technology Institutes (ACTIA). It was a hybrid meeting, with some partners face-to-face and others attending online.
Christophe Cotillon, ACTIA’s Deputy Director, started the meeting with some welcome words and presented the network activities to the meeting participants.
Presentations on project activities began with Ahmet Budaklier (TAGEM) on the quality assurance of the project, providing relevant information on key performance indicators. Then Ferruh Erdogdu (Ankara University), with the support of other partners, gave an overview of the trainings already done in different countries, and the planning for the future ones. Jodie Bonicci (MCAST), introduced the quality assurance methodology to follow on the training and their certification, and also presented the EQVEGAN guidelines for work-based learning and recognition of prior learning.
Luis Mayor (ISEKI-Food), started the second block of presentations with a proposal on food professional certification, which is expected to be an important outcome of the project. Then was time to give an update on the project dissemination activities both at national and european level, the project exploitation plan and the establishment of the EQVEGAN Sectors Skills Alliance.
The project meeting ended with a project overview by our coordinator Rui Costa (IPC) and the announcement of our last meeting in Poznan by the PULS team.
