Rui Costa has academic qualifications in Food Engineering (MSc and PhD) and since 1999, he is a professor teaching Food Engineering first and second cycles and does research in food processing. He is the coordinator of the EQVEGAN project.

Susana Gonçalves has academic qualifications in Psychology (BSc, MSc and PhD) and she is a full professor, teaching Education, Pedagogy and Psychology to first and second cycles of Higher Education. Her main research interests are pedagogy in higher education, multimedia pedagogical resources, citizenship, and art in education.

Nuno Ferreira has academic qualifications in Electrical and Computer Engineering (BSc, MSc PhD and Habilitation) and he is a Full professor, teaching Electrical Engineering first and second cycles and does research in robotics, industrial, cooperative, multi-robot systems, human-robot cooperation, distributed control, cooperative perception and autonomous robots.

Goreti Botelho has academic qualifications in Enology (BSc, 4 years), Nutrition Sciences (BSc, 4 years) and Agrarian Sciences – Food Science (PhD). She is a professor teaching Human Nutrition, Winemaking Technology, Sensory Analysis, and Enogastronomy, and does research in nutrition and food science. Her task in the Project is to prepare didactic materials and training in Nutrition for operators, technicians and engineers.

Ivo Rodrigues has academic qualifications in Food Engineering (BSc, 5 years) and Food Chemistry and Food Quality (MSc), he is Specialist in Food Industry and teaches General Food Processing and Fruit and Vegetables Processing Technology. He does research in food processing and valorization of by-products from the food industry. His task in the Project is to prepare didactic materials and training in Plant Based Processing for operators, technicians and engineers.

Carla Rodrigues holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering and a degree in Chemical Engineering. She has been teaching environmental engineering, environmental management in the food industry and valorisation of food industry by-products. In the Project she is designing and preparing materials for operators, technicians and technologists/engineers in the area of Green Skills.
