Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS)

Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS) is a higher education institution in Poland. PULS is in charge of the WP2 (Design of innovative trainings) and provides expertise in specific topics, e.g. food quality and safety assessment, training in modern techniques in food analysis, cereal, vegetable, fruit processing, nutritional evaluation of vegan food products and diets. In the project, PULS will deliver training and contribute to the establishment of a framework for quality assurance of training.

Zbigniew Krejpcio is a professor at the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS). His academic and research areas are food toxicology, food safety, bioavailability of essential minerals, interactions, bioactive compounds with health promoting properties. His major task in the Project is to manage the WP2 and relevant activities.

Dorota Piasecka-Kwiatkowska – associate professor, Head of the Department of Food Biochemistry and Analysis. The teacher with years of experience in evaluating and improving the quality of education. Research activity is concerned with food allergenicity. Her task in the Project is to develop teaching materials for Food Analysis, popularisation and dissemination of the project.

Krzysztof Dwiecki is associate professor in the Department of Food Biochemistry and Analysis, Faculty of Food Science and Nutrition, Poznań University of Life Sciences (Poland). He is specialised in food analysis.

Kinga Stuper-Szablewska has MSc in chemistry and physics, PhD in agricultural sciences in the field of food technology and nutrition. She has academic qualifications in food quality and safety, food analysis, inorganic, organic, physical chemistry and analytical chemistry. She does research in food quality and safety. Her task in the Project is to prepare didactic materials and training in Food Quality and Safety.

Tomasz Szablewski is associate professor in the Department of Food Quality and Safety Management, Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS). His research interests are focused on food quality and safety, particularly in screening of food hazards (pathogenic microorganisms, mycotoxins) and testing some bioactive molecules as natural preservatives.

Magdalena Czlapka-Matyasik is associate professor at the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Poznan University of Life Sciences (PULS). Her academic and research areas are diet antioxidant capacity, nutritional epidemiology and plant diet’s nutritional quality. As nutriotionist in the Project she is developing teaching materials for nutritional aspects of plant based diets.
