On 11-12 May 2023 the 11th Edition of Murcia Food Brokerage Event, organised by the Regional Development Agency of the Region of Murcia (INFO) in collaboration with the Technological Centre for the Food and Canning Industry (CTNC), and the Enterprise Europe Network EEN SEIMED framework took place in Murcia, Spain. This free 2-day event gathered 380 participants from all over Europe representing companies, universities, technology centres and research institutes.

Those who were not able to attend the event in person, had the opportunity to meet online in the digital showroom of Murcia Food Brokerage Event 2023 “Marketplace opportunities” on 15-16 May. Thus, on 15 May, Dr. Carmen de Vega, CEO/Chief Administrative of ACTAE – Basque Association of Food Science & Technologist had several online bilateral meetings with other participants where she presented the EQVEGAN website, the Food Skills Platform and the Stakeholders Database.

Dr. Carmen de Vega had the opportunity to contact 12 Spanish stakeholders, while 3 other companies were contacted separately as it was not possible during the event due to the full agenda. Foreign stakeholders (Greek, Turkish, Croatian or Portuguese) were forwarded to respective EQVEGAN project partners.
