EQVEGAN PRESENTED AT NUTRITION AND DIETETICS 2023
The EQVEGAN project was recently presented during the 4th Congress of the Croatian Society of Nutritionists and Dietitians “Nutrition and Dietetics 2023“, which was held in Zagreb on 28 and 29 September, 2023.
The oral presentation was given by Jasenka Gajdoš Kljusurić, and the co-authors were Sanja Vidaček Filipec, Ana Kovačić and Anet Režek Jambrak, all of them from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology of the University of Zagreb (FFTB). With the title “Green engineering and digitization in new food trends – an example of the ERASMUS+ project: EQVEGAN” the presentation aimed at sharing the activities of the EQVEGAN project and informed also about FFTB’s role in developing trainings in the four EQVEGAN modules (EQF levels 4-7): plant-based processing, green skills, digital skills and soft skills.
The audience reacted very positively to the presentation. Fellow teachers and industry praised the up-to-datedness of the education system in meeting the needs of the labor market, while students, and those who have recently completed their studies, were interested in further education, and knowing when and where they can enroll.
