ETP Sicó
The ETP SICO intends to respond to the needs of local and regional development, by qualifying the human resources essential to the modernization of the economic and social fabric. ETP Sico is dedicated to secondary-level vocational education and training and other types of education and training. It offers dual certification professional courses in training areas such as computer science; electricity and energy; administration and management, health, laboratory sciences, communication and marketing and tourism. International internships under different European programs have been an important contribution for the school to fulfill its project, promoting new opportunities and supporting our young people in building a European citizenship and building a professional career.

Luis Jose Teixeira da Rocha is a professor of economics and business management, director of the Management Course (level 4) and coordinator of international projects at ETP Sicó. Within the scope of the EQVEGAN project, he assumes management responsibilities (WP7) and as a teacher, in the preparation of training and training contents and modules (the design of training – WP2).

Célia Nunes performs administrative functions in the school’s delegation, in Alvaiázere. She’s part of WP7. The main tasks performed are administrative support, namely in terms of checking time sheets, project elements and organising documentation, as well as administrative support to the project team.

Rodrigo Furtado is a professor at ETP Sicó, he teaches subjects in the technical and technological component of the Professional Course in Cooking and Pastry, LEVEL 4 COURSE. In the EQVEGAN project he is part of the WP2 team, with the aim of developing content and methodologies applied to level 4 trainees.

João Paulo da Silva Mendes is a teacher and director of the professional course of Electronics, Automation and Command Technician. In EQVEGAN, he is responsible for the collection and the research of technical content for the production of documentation adapted to the automation of industrial processes (WP2).

Manuel Lourenço has a background in Agronomic Engineering and is a Member of Direction Board of Sicó Technological and Professional School. His main task in EQVEGAN is to develop training modules for professionals and students on soft skills and green skills for EQF level 4, contributing to having better prepared professionals in the vegan food industries.

Maria Margarida Santos Marques is a teacher and director of the vocational training course in Culinary and Pastry services. In EQVEGAN, she collects and researches of technical content for the production of documentation adapted to The Fruit and Vegetable Preserver, which aims to keep preserved perishable foods in a stable form (Educational level: Vocational Education and Training- at School of Vocational Education, EQF level 4 (WP2). Also, she develops training modules for professionals, trainers and students on plant-based (vegetable, fruit, cereal and nut) for EQF levels 4.
