PROFESSIONALS AND OTHER VISITORS INTERESTED IN VEGAN FOOD GOT TO KNOW THE EQVEGAN PROJECT AT THE LAKEUS KOKKA EVENT
The EQVEGAN project presented its activities at the Lakeus kokkaa event, a trade fair aimed at HoReCa professionals and buyers as well as all producers of food and catering services. The half-day long event was organized on May 9 at Seinäjoki Arena and was attended by 57 exhibitors and around 450 visitors.
Students of the bachelor’s degree programme Hospitality Management planned and realised the exhibition stand of the EQVEGAN project under the supervision of lecturer Paula Juurakko. Vegan tastings were offered and leaflets of the project, outlining the project’s objectives and main goals, were also distributed among interested visitors. Additionally, a QR code for joining the EQVEGAN Stakeholder database was on display.
