WP1: Professional profiles and skills
- This WP will review professional profiles according to ESCO.
- The consortium will define the profiles after consultation of relevant stakeholders following a “multi-actor approach”.
- A Skills Portal will be developed to communicate with companies and professionals.
- The SP will include a stakeholders’ database, skills assessment tools, apprenticeships database and links to courses and certification developed in other work packages.
WP2: Design of innovative trainings
- Innovative trainings will be designed for, at least, the following occupations identified in ESCO: “Fruit, vegetable and related preserver” (EQF4), “Food Production Operator” (EQF 4), the “Food technician” (EQF 5), the Food Technologist/Engineer (EQF 6 and 7) and for training trainers.
- The trainings will be divided in modules plant-based processing, soft skills, digitalization and automation, and green skills. These will be designed based on learning outcomes according to ECVET and ECTS.
- Innovative teaching methods will be preferably used prioritising learning efficiency. A blended learning approach will be prepared to be used in all trainings. The online content will be available in the IFA training platform in a section accessed by EQVEGAN partners and maintained after the project.
WP3: Work-based learning guidelines and promotion
- This work package will use the European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships (2018/C 153/01) to establish guidelines for apprenticeships and disseminate it to VET providers and companies.
- To promote apprenticeships at both national and international levels, a database will be built, that will be part of Skills Portal.
- Special focus will be given to international apprenticeships.
WP4: Implementation of trainings, its quality assurance, certification and recognition
- Pilot trainings will be implemented first for trainers, and after for students and professionals. This will have in class components and online, with these last components implemented in the IFA platform.
- Trainees will be selected according to criteria defined in WP1. Training of professionals will be given primarily to the staff of the companies or industry federations of this consortium.
- Quality assurance of trainings will be monitored and support final definition of trainings (learning outcomes, contents, teaching methodologies, assessment and credits) and certification of trainings.
- Quality assurance of trainings will give the basis for recognition and the development of a European certification scheme for professionals
WP5: Internal and external quality assurance of the project
- This work package aim is to assure the quality of processes and outcomes of activities according to the planned schedule.
- WP7 will follow the WP5 reports to review any procedure needed or take any action to improve any activity.
- At the first half and end of the project, external evaluation will provide suggestions for improvements, where appropriate, and offer advice on how best to meet the needs of relevant stakeholders with regard to specific deliverables.
WP6: Dissemination and exploitation
- The first aim of this WP is to create awareness of the project activities and the second aim is to assure the impact of the project outcomes after the project.
- It will start with the development of dissemination plan and finish with the delivery of an exploitation plan.
- Development of dissemination materials will be the second step and the ongoing engagement of partners in the dissemination the third step.
- Social networks, videos, press releases and leaflets will be used for dissemination, associated with participation in high diversity of events.
- For the exploitation aim, IFA will maintain in open access materials and courses developed during the project.
WP7: Project management
- The grant-holder will be the ultimate responsible for the project implementation, reporting and general financial management.
- Partnership agreements will be signed to assure the assumption of responsibilities of the other consortium members.
- The Steering Committee, composed of representatives of all partners, will follow the execution of the project and have decision power on financial and management issues.
- Work package coordinators will be responsible for realization the activities within their WP.
- Each partner institution will ensure the necessary administration of financial management and legal issues.
